Are Med Spa Consultations Free? What Happens at Your First Injectables Visit

Quick answer

Yes. Injectables consultations at Aesthetics Collective in Murfreesboro are complimentary, with no obligation to book treatment. A card on file holds your 30-minute appointment, and a $50 fee applies only to no-shows or cancellations after the 24-hour reminder. New Botox®, Dysport® and Letybo® clients can often book a consultation and treatment in the same visit.

If you're thinking about Botox®, filler, Sculptra® or Kybella® for the first time, the consultation is where everything starts. At Aesthetics Collective in Murfreesboro, it's free, it takes about half an hour, and you're under no obligation to book anything afterward. Here's exactly what happens.

Are Injectables Consultations Free at Aesthetics Collective?

Yes. Every new injectables client starts with a complimentary consultation with one of our Nurse Injectors. There's no charge for the visit and no obligation to go ahead with treatment.

The same is true for our skin, acne, laser hair removal, tattoo removal and EliteSculpt consultations. You only pay if you decide to book a treatment.

Why Do You Need a Card on File for a Free Consultation?

A card on file holds your appointment time. Nothing is charged for the consultation itself. If you don't show up, or you cancel after the 24-hour reminder notice, a $50 fee applies.

That policy protects time that another client could have used. If your plans change, just cancel or reschedule before the reminder and there's no charge.

What about the non-refundable deposit?

The non-refundable security deposit applies to treatment bookings made online, not to free consultations. When you book a paid treatment, the deposit is applied toward your total at checkout on the day of your visit. If you'd rather book a treatment without a deposit, call (615) 801-8078 and our team will help you by phone.

What Happens at Your First Injectables Consultation?

A consultation is booked as a 30-minute appointment. Your Nurse Injector will:

Our Nurse Injectors work with medical oversight from our Medical Director. If injectables aren't the right fit, they'll tell you, and point you toward something that is.

How Does the Injector Choose Between Botox®, Filler, Sculptra® and Kybella®?

Each one solves a different problem, so the choice comes down to what's causing the concern you see in the mirror.

Botox®, Dysport® and Letybo®

These neuromodulators relax the muscles that cause movement lines, like frown lines, forehead lines and crow's feet. Results usually last 3 to 4 months. If the lines you dislike appear when you make expressions, this is usually the starting point.

Dermal filler

Hyaluronic acid fillers such as Juvederm® and Restylane® add or restore volume and shape in areas like the lips, cheeks, chin and jawline, and soften deeper folds. If the concern is lost volume or wanting more definition, filler is usually the tool.

Sculptra®

Sculptra® is a collagen stimulator. Instead of adding instant volume, it works with your body over time to restore fullness gradually, usually over a series of treatments.

Kybella®

Kybella® permanently destroys fat cells under the chin to reduce a double chin. It's typically done as a series, and temporary swelling after each session is expected.

Plenty of clients end up with a combination, such as Botox® for frown lines and filler for the lips. Your injector will explain the order that makes sense and what each step costs.

Can You Get Treated the Same Day as Your Consultation?

Often, yes. New Botox®, Dysport® and Letybo® clients can book a Complimentary Consultation + Treatment appointment, so the injector assesses you and treats you in the same visit if you decide to go ahead. New dermal filler, Sculptra® and Kybella® clients have a consultation + treatment option too.

If you want to think it over first, that's completely fine. Book the consultation on its own and come back when you're ready.

How Much Do Injectables Cost?

Botox® and Dysport® are $11 per unit and Letybo® is $10 per unit, so the total depends on how many units your areas need. Lip filler is $600 to $800 per syringe, Sculptra® is $800 per vial and Kybella® is $600 per vial. Your injector gives you the unit, syringe or vial count and the full cost at your consultation, before anything is injected, so there are no surprises at checkout.

What Should You Bring to Your Consultation?

New client paperwork is sent by text or email before your visit, so you can fill it out ahead of time.

Questions Worth Asking Your Injector

What About Skin, Acne and Laser Consultations?

They work the same way. A complimentary skin consultation looks at texture, pigmentation, aging and overall skin health, then recommends facials, peels or advanced treatments like IPL and microneedling. An acne consultation with our acne specialist looks at your acne type, triggers and skin condition before building a corrective plan. Laser hair removal and tattoo removal consultations check whether you're a good candidate, based on your skin, hair or ink, and set realistic expectations about how many sessions you'll need.

If you aren't sure which consultation to book, start with a skin consultation or call us, and we'll point you to the right one.

What Happens After the Consultation?

You leave with a plan, not a sales pitch. If you're ready, you can book treatment on the spot or online. If you want to think, take the plan home. Many clients come back weeks later once the timing works, and the plan is still there for them.

For injectables, we usually suggest starting conservatively. It's easy to add a little more at a follow-up visit, and it gives you a chance to see how your face responds before committing to more.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long is an injectables consultation?

Consultations are booked as 30-minute appointments, which leaves time for a full assessment and all your questions.

Do I have to get treated after my consultation?

No. The consultation is free and comes with no obligation. Many clients take time to think before booking treatment.

Who performs the consultation?

Injectables consultations are done by our Nurse Injectors, who work with medical oversight from our Medical Director.

Can I bring a friend or family member to my consultation?

Yes. Many first-time clients bring someone they trust for a second opinion. Just let us know when you book so we can plan for it. Please keep in mind that children can only come along if they are scheduled for a child-friendly service.

Is the consultation the same if I have had injectables somewhere else?

Yes, and it is especially useful. Tell your injector what you had, roughly when and how you felt about the result, so the plan builds on what worked and avoids what did not.

What happens if I need to cancel?

Cancel or reschedule before the 24-hour reminder and there's no charge. No-shows and cancellations after the reminder are charged $50.
